Lightning Bug

Lightning Bug is an ambience and white noise mixer designed for Android powered devices. It offers a diverse library of nearly 200 sound loops and samples, ranging from natural rain storms and ocean waves to white noise, city trains, meditation bells, acoustic and electronic instruments, and down-tempo break beats.

In addition to its extensive sound library, Lightning Bug also provides soothing backgrounds and sound visualizations. It even includes a customizable digital clock with an alarm function, making it a great alternative to a bedside alarm clock.

Experiencing issues with disappearing sounds and icons?

Past versions of Lightning Bug stored files in a generic folder on your SD card. However, some anti-virus and disk utility applications have flagged this type of storage as suspicious and have automatically deleted the contents of Lightning Bug's content folder in certain cases. To address this concern, the latest release (version 2.9.8.1) has moved Lightning Bug's folder into protected app storage on your SD card. This change prevents anti-virus and disk utility apps from deleting your icons and sounds.

If your sounds and icons were already missing before installing version 2.9.8.1, they will unfortunately remain missing. However, the 2.9.8.1 update will prevent such issues from occurring again in the future. Please note that you will need to reinstall your plugins once more. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
